Washburn built the PXS10EDLXTBM as part of its Parallaxe Series, positioning the model at players seeking an aggressive, high-output platform on a double-cutaway body. The PXS10EDLXTBM sat within a line designed around active electronics and modern hardware appointments.
The body is mahogany, paired with a maple neck and an ebony fretboard carrying 24 frets. Inlays are small dots, with a Parallaxe inlay at the 12th fret. The nut is graphite, cut to 43 mm width. Electronics are a pair of EMG pickups — an 85 in the neck position and an 81 at the bridge — controlled by a single volume, a single tone, and a three-way toggle selector. Hardware throughout is black chrome: the bridge is a tune-o-matic, and tuning is handled by Black Locking Grover Exclusive machines with an 18:1 gear ratio. The guitar shipped strung with D'Addario EXL120 light-gauge strings. The finish is matte, in a Flame Trans Black colour.
Owners requiring setup work, fret service, or help sourcing replacement components such as the tune-o-matic bridge saddles, EMG-compatible wiring hardware, or Grover-pattern tuner bushings should consult a qualified guitar technician familiar with active-pickup instruments.
STRAIGHT TALK
What Stands Out
Keep In Mind
From the people who own them
Nothing in The Vault is for sale. These records exist so the instruments stay documented after the manufacturer moves on — and the most useful part of that record is what owners add to it.
Owner photos
Put yours on the record.
The catalog shot showed one finish, under one light, a long time ago. Yours has been played. Photos from owners are what the next person finds when they are trying to identify a part, match a finish, or work out whether the one they just bought is really what the seller said it was.
What do you know about this one?
Specs only go so far. What actually fits, what breaks first, what the factory got right and what everyone ends up changing — that lives with the people who own them, not in a datasheet. Post what you know and it stays on this page for whoever comes looking next.
