The body is alder, paired with a 5-ply maple and mahogany neck. The ebony fretboard runs 24 frets at a 25.5" scale, with small dot inlays and a Parallaxe inlay at the 12th fret. The nut is graphite at 43 mm width. Electronics are a pair of EMG 707 humbuckers controlled by a 1 volume / 1 tone arrangement with a 5-way blade superswitch and a 3-way toggle selector. Hardware throughout is black chrome, including a tune-o-matic bridge and Grover Exclusive 18:1 tuners. The guitar shipped in a matte Carbon Black finish with D'Addario EXL 120 light gauge strings installed. The GB4 gig bag was sold separately.
