Washburn built the PXL20EWH as part of its Parallaxe Series, positioning the model within a line designed around a PXL single-cutaway body shape. The guitar carried a gloss white finish and shipped with a GB4 gig bag sold separately.
The PXL20EWH was constructed with a mahogany body and mahogany neck, topped with an ebony fretboard carrying split pearl block inlays over 22 frets at a 24.75" scale. The nut was graphite at 43 mm width. Electronics centred on an EMG 85/81 humbucker pair, wired to a two-volume, one-tone control layout with a three-way toggle selector. Hardware ran throughout in black, including a Babicz Full Contact Bridge and Grover Exclusive black locking tuners with an 18:1 tuning ratio. The instrument was strung from the factory with D'Addario EXL120 light-gauge strings.
