Ibanez built the AX120MFT as part of its AX Series, a line designed around a solid-body format intended to bridge hard rock accessibility with a streamlined feature set positioned in the mid-range of the AX family.
The guitar is constructed with a basswood body and a maple neck, fitted with a jatoba fretboard bearing white block inlays across 22 medium frets.
