The SR305ECUB was constructed with a Nyatoh body and a five-piece Maple/Walnut SR5 neck, with a Jatoba fretboard dressed with white dot inlays and medium frets. The 34-inch scale (864mm) runs to a 45mm nut width, tapering to 68mm at the 24th fret, with neck thickness measuring 19.5mm at the first fret and 21.5mm at the 12th — figures that reflect the SR line's characteristic shallow profile. The fretboard radius is 305mmR. String spacing at the bridge is 16.5mm, set by the Accu-cast B125 bridge. Both the neck and bridge positions carry PowerSpan Dual Coil passive pickups, fed into an Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ with a 3-way Power Tap switch, allowing the player to alter the coil configuration of the pickups. All hardware is finished in Cosmo black.
