Ibanez built the PN1NT as part of the PF Series, positioning it as a parlor-format acoustic in a compact Parlor 2 body configuration. The instrument carried a Natural High Gloss finish and was designed to serve players who required a smaller-bodied guitar within the broader PF acoustic family.
The top is spruce, paired with nyatoh back and sides and a nyatoh neck. The fretboard and bridge are both nandu wood, with white dot inlays running the length of the 18-fret neck. Binding detail includes herringbone top purfling and a black-and-white multi-layer soundhole rosette. Hardware consists of chrome open-gear tuners fitted with ivory knobs. The nut and saddle are plastic, and the bridge accepts Ibanez Advantage bridge pins. The guitar ships strung with a .012–.053 gauge set at standard factory tuning. The scale length is 620mm, nut width measures 42mm, and the fretboard radius is 250mmR. Neck thickness runs 20mm at the first fret and 21mm at the seventh, with a string spacing of 11mm.
