Ibanez built the PF1512NT as part of the PF Series, positioning it as a 12-string dreadnought acoustic. The model carried a natural high gloss finish and was offered under the broader PF line, which Ibanez developed as an accessible entry point into acoustic guitar ownership.
The body paired a spruce top with Nyatoh back and sides. The neck, also Nyatoh, met a Nandu Wood fretboard and Nandu Wood bridge, with white dot inlays running the length of the 20-fret board. A black and white multi-ring soundhole rosette framed the top. Hardware included chrome die-cast tuners, plastic nut and saddle, and Ibanez Advantage bridge pins. The neck measured 45mm at the nut and carried a 380mm radius, with a scale length of 650mm. Neck thickness measured 21.5mm at the first fret and 23.5mm at the seventh.
Owners sourcing replacement components — particularly saddles, nuts, bridge pins, or tuning machines suited to a 12-string configuration — should consult a qualified guitar technician or luthier, who can verify fit against the instrument's existing dimensions before installation.
STRAIGHT TALK
What Stands Out
Keep In Mind
From the people who own them
Nothing in The Vault is for sale. These records exist so the instruments stay documented after the manufacturer moves on — and the most useful part of that record is what owners add to it.
Owner photos
Put yours on the record.
The catalog shot showed one finish, under one light, a long time ago. Yours has been played. Photos from owners are what the next person finds when they are trying to identify a part, match a finish, or work out whether the one they just bought is really what the seller said it was.
What do you know about this one?
Specs only go so far. What actually fits, what breaks first, what the factory got right and what everyone ends up changing — that lives with the people who own them, not in a datasheet. Post what you know and it stays on this page for whoever comes looking next.
