Ibanez produced the IJVC50 as part of its Jampack series — a bundled acoustic guitar package aimed at entry-level players. The guitar itself is a Grand Concert body format, finished in Natural High Gloss.
The top is spruce, with meranti back and sides. The nyatoh neck carries a V profile and is paired with a nandu wood fretboard and matching nandu wood bridge. Fret count is 20. The nut is plastic at 42mm width, the saddle is plastic, and the bridge is fitted with Ibanez Advantage bridge pins. Tuning is handled by chrome covered tuners. The soundhole is dressed with a water decal rosette, and white dot inlays mark the fretboard positions. Scale length is 634mm, with a 250mm radius fretboard. Neck thickness measures 20mm at the first fret and 21mm at the seventh. The factory-fitted string set runs .012/.016/.024/.032/.042/.053, with 11mm string spacing, tuned to standard E-A-D-G-B-E.
