Description

Ibanez produced the WH10V3 as the third version of their WH10 wah effect pedal, positioned as a dedicated wah unit for both guitar and bass players.

The WH10V3 offered a Depth control alongside a Frequency Range switch selectable between Guitar and Bass modes, making the unit adaptable across different instruments. A Buffered/True Bypass switch gave the player control over the pedal's signal path behaviour when not engaged. The unit drew 12mA at 9V and accepted power from either a single 9V battery or an external DC 9V AC adapter. Its footprint measured 100mm wide by 202mm deep by 84mm tall, with a total weight of 815g.

Owners seeking replacement footswitches, pots, or internal components compatible with this unit should consult a qualified guitar technician or electronics repair specialist familiar with effects pedal servicing.

From the people who own them

Nothing in The Vault is for sale. These records exist so the instruments stay documented after the manufacturer moves on — and the most useful part of that record is what owners add to it.

Put yours on the record.

The catalog shot showed one finish, under one light, a long time ago. Yours has been played. Photos from owners are what the next person finds when they are trying to identify a part, match a finish, or work out whether the one they just bought is really what the seller said it was.

What do you know about this one?

Specs only go so far. What actually fits, what breaks first, what the factory got right and what everyone ends up changing — that lives with the people who own them, not in a datasheet. Post what you know and it stays on this page for whoever comes looking next.
