Washburn built the PXL260FHB as part of the Parallaxe Series, positioning it as a single-cut solid-body electric with a mahogany body and set mahogany neck. The model carried a flamed maple veneer top finished in Honey-Burst Gloss.
Electronics centre on a Duncan Designed HB-101 at the neck and a Duncan Designed Distortion HB-103 at the bridge, selected via a 3-way switch and governed by two volume controls and one push/pull tone control that doubles as a coil-tap. The 24-3/4" scale mahogany neck features an Ovangkol fretboard with 22 frets, dot inlays, and a Parallaxe inlay at the 12th fret. A deep heel carve was incorporated for upper-fret access. Black hardware throughout includes a Tune-O-Matic bridge with stop-bar tailpiece and diecast tuners. Strings were fitted from D'Addario.
Owners sourcing replacement hardware should note that the Tune-O-Matic bridge accepts standard tune-o-matic saddles and posts, and the stop-bar tailpiece uses conventional stud mounting. For setup, intonation, or parts compatibility questions, consult a qualified guitar technician or luthier.
