Schecter positioned the Solo II Custom at the upper tier of its Solo series, building the instrument around a set-neck mahogany body with an arched burl top and white multi-ply binding. The model was manufactured in South Korea and offered in a Burl Natural finish that left the figured top material prominent.
Construction centred on a three-piece mahogany neck in a Thin 'C' profile, measuring .787" at the first fret and .866" at the twelfth, joined to the body via a set-neck joint. The 24.75" scale ebony fretboard carries 22 X-Jumbo frets, a 12"–16" compound radius, block abalone inlays, and a 42mm Ernie Ball Compensated Nut. Hardware runs chrome throughout: a TonePros T3BT tune-o-matic bridge paired with a T1Z tailpiece, and Schecter locking tuners. Both pickup positions are loaded with Schecter Custom Shop USA Pasadena humbuckers, controlled through a volume/volume/tone (push-pull) layout with a 3-way switch; Grip Tip Speed Knobs are fitted throughout. The instrument shipped strung with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky .010–.046 strings.
Owners sourcing replacement parts should note that the TonePros T3BT bridge accepts standard tune-o-matic saddles, and the 42mm nut width is a useful reference when seeking a replacement compensated nut.
