Schecter positioned the Orleans Studio-12 (item 3714) as a twelve-string acoustic-electric in the Orleans Studio line, built with a set-neck construction and finished in Satin See Thru Black. The guitar was manufactured in China and configured for right-handed players.
The body was built from mahogany with a solid cedar top, bound in rosewood multi-ply. The mahogany neck carries a Thin 'C' profile — .787" at the first fret and .866" at the twelfth — and meets a rosewood fretboard with a 16" radius, 20 medium frets, and mother of pearl dot inlays. The 48mm bone nut sits at the head of a 25.5" scale length. Tuning is handled by Grover Rotomatic 18:1 machines finished in black chrome. The rosewood bridge is fitted with a bone saddle and Graph Tech TUSQ bridge pins. Electronics consist of a Fishman Sonicore piezo pickup paired with a Fishman Isys+ preamp, which provides volume control, an on-board tuner, bass, treble, and a phase switch. The truss rod is a two-way adjustable unit, accessed with a 5/32" (4mm) Allen wrench.
