Schecter positioned the PT SLS Elite within its Super Light Series (SLS) lineup as a high-specification, neck-through solidbody electric built around active Fishman Fluence electronics and premium tonewoods. The model carried item number 1341 and was finished in Black Fade Burst.
Construction is neck-through with Ultra Access, using a multi-ply Maple, Walnut, and Padauk neck reinforced with carbon fiber rods and an Ultra Thin 'C' profile measuring .748" at the first fret and .787" at the twelfth. The body is Swamp Ash with a Flamed Maple arched top and Ivory 1-ply binding. The Ebony fretboard runs a 12"-16" compound radius across 24 X-Jumbo stainless steel frets, with Abalone offset/reverse dot inlays and matching Abalone side dots. An Ernie Ball Compensated Nut sits at 1.653" (42mm) width over a 25.5" (648mm) scale. Hardware is finished in black throughout: Schecter locking tuners, a Hipshot Hardtail bridge with string-through-body stringing, and metal knurled knobs with set screws. Electronics are a Fishman Fluence Modern Ceramic Magnet humbucker at the bridge and a Fishman Fluence Modern Alnico Magnet humbucker at the neck, each push-pull control on the Volume and Tone pots enabling the Fluence voice-switching feature, routed through a 3-way switch. A 9-volt clip-in battery compartment powers the active circuit. The instrument was strung from the factory with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky .010–.046.
