Dunlop positioned the M293-U MXR Booster Mini as a compact effects pedal combining the preamp character associated with the Echoplex Preamp circuit with the boosting functionality of the MXR Micro Amp, housed in a reduced-footprint mini enclosure.
The unit operated on 9VDC at 12.5 mA, placing it within standard pedalboard power supply territory. An input impedance of 800 kΩ and an output impedance of under 120 Ω defined its buffering behaviour in a signal chain. The pedal accepted up to +6 dBV at the input and could deliver up to +20 dBV at the output, with a measured noise floor of -82 dBV at +19.5 dB of gain.
Owners tracing signal-chain issues or sourcing a compatible power supply should consult a qualified guitar technician, who can verify impedance matching and confirm that the supply meets the 9VDC centre-negative standard common to MXR-format pedals.

What Stands Out
Keep In Mind
From the people who own them
Nothing in The Vault is for sale. These records exist so the instruments stay documented after the manufacturer moves on — and the most useful part of that record is what owners add to it.
Owner photos
Put yours on the record.
The catalog shot showed one finish, under one light, a long time ago. Yours has been played. Photos from owners are what the next person finds when they are trying to identify a part, match a finish, or work out whether the one they just bought is really what the seller said it was.
What do you know about this one?
Specs only go so far. What actually fits, what breaks first, what the factory got right and what everyone ends up changing — that lives with the people who own them, not in a datasheet. Post what you know and it stays on this page for whoever comes looking next.
