DigiTech produced the Ventura Vibe (VENTURA-VIBE-U) as a compact rotary and vibrato effects pedal, offering three selectable effect types that covered both vintage and modern modulation voices. It occupied a mid-tier position in DigiTech's effects lineup, designed for players seeking rotary speaker simulation and vibrato in a pedalboard-friendly enclosure.
The unit provided independent Speed, Depth, and Mix controls alongside stacked Tone and Drive controls, the latter allowing the effect signal to be pushed into distortion. An Effect Type toggle switch selected between the three rotary and vibrato modes, while a soft-click, vacuum-style footswitch handled bypass. A foot-switchable speed function allowed the player to ramp between slow and fast Speed settings during performance. The Ventura Vibe operated in true hardwire bypass when the effect was disengaged. Stereo quarter-inch unbalanced inputs and outputs were provided for flexible routing, and a bicolor status LED indicated effect and speed state. The pedal required an external 9 VDC power supply; DigiTech specified the PS0913DC-01 for US, Japanese, and European markets and the PS0913DC-02 for Australian and UK markets. No battery operation was supported.
