Cort built the JADE-CLASSIC-SKOP as part of its Jade series, positioning it as a compact, smaller-body acoustic-electric with a Venetian cutaway. The model drew on what the source material describes as the look of the "50's and the rock n roll era," and was offered alongside Pastel Yellow and Pastel Pink finishes in the Sky Blue Open Pore colourway.
The body, neck, and top are all mahogany, with a laurel fretboard and laurel bridge. The neck joins the body via a dovetail joint and carries 20 frets over a 24.75" (628mm) scale, with a nut width of 42mm (1 21/32"). Advanced X-bracing is used under the top. Tuning is handled by vintage-style machineheads. Cosmetic appointments include pearloid pickguard and headstock detailing. Onboard electronics are the Cort CE304T system.
