The fine tuning screws on a Floyd Rose are the first thing to strip. They take constant torque at the saddle and the plated steel versions that ship on many systems give out before the guitar does. These are the brass replacements — six screws, Floyd Rose Original series, machined in brass and finished in brass. Brass is softer than steel against the saddle block, which reduces galling, and the added mass has a measurable effect on sustain at the saddle contact point.

Fit is series-specific and this is where most ordering mistakes happen. Floyd Rose tremolo hardware is not interchangeable across product lines even when parts look the same. These screws are cut for the Original series. Before ordering, confirm the exact series stamped or engraved on your baseplate. A screw from the wrong series will either not thread in or will seat incorrectly and damage the block. If the baseplate is unmarked or you are not certain which series is installed, measure the existing screws and send us the make, model and year of the guitar before ordering.
