The FRT300L is a complete left-handed Floyd Rose Original double-locking tremolo system finished in gold. It comes as a full kit: bridge, saddles, tremolo block, locking nut, springs, claw, mounting studs, and installation hardware. The double-locking design clamps the strings at both the nut and the bridge, which is the mechanism that lets the system return to pitch after dive bombs and pull-ups. Nothing else in the box is needed to install it.
String count and mounting style decide whether this fits your guitar before anything else does. This is a 6-string unit — it will not work on a 7- or 8-string instrument. Beyond that, a recessed Floyd Rose installation requires a rear cavity routed into the body and correct stud spacing to match this bridge's footprint. If your guitar currently has a non-locking bridge, fitting this is a routing job. If it already has a recessed double-locking system, the question becomes whether the existing stud spacing and neck angle are compatible. Measure both before ordering.
The base plate, saddles, and hardware are hardened steel. The tremolo block is nickel-plated brass. The arm is stainless steel. These are the material choices on the Original series. The block material matters because it is what sits in the cavity and contacts the body — block length has to clear the routed cavity in your specific guitar.
