This is the left-handed tremolo arm for Floyd Rose 1000 Series bridges, finished in black. It replaces a missing or damaged arm on a 1000 Series unit without any modification to the bridge collar. The shaft is stainless steel, 6mm in diameter and 80mm in length.

Arm fit is series-specific and the handedness matters. The shaft diameter, the collar engagement — whether threaded or push-in — and the direction of the bend all differ between Floyd Rose generations. An arm from another series will not seat correctly in a 1000 Series collar. The left-handed version is bent the opposite way to the right-handed arm; they are not interchangeable. Before ordering, confirm your bridge is a 1000 Series unit and that your guitar is a left-handed instrument.

Stainless steel holds its finish and resists the corrosion that attacks softer arm shafts over time. The black coating matches the 1000 Series black hardware finish. If the collar threads are the problem rather than the arm itself, check the collar before fitting a new arm — a worn collar will strip a new arm just as fast.
