This is the left-handed tremolo arm for the Floyd Rose 1000 Series bridge, finished in black nickel over stainless steel. It drops into the arm collar on the bridge body and gives you the pivot point for push and pull. The black nickel finish matches the 1000 Series hardware. Shaft diameter is 6mm, arm length is 80mm.
Fit is series-specific and this matters. The 1000 Series arm has a particular shaft diameter, collar engagement and bend angle. It will not seat correctly in a Floyd Rose Original, Pro, Special or any other generation — the collar geometry is different. This arm is also bent for a left-handed player: the sweep goes the opposite direction from a right-handed arm. A right-handed arm bent the wrong way is not a substitute and will not sit at the correct angle under your hand.
Stainless steel construction. Black nickel plating is a surface finish, so if your existing arm shows plating wear at the collar contact point before anything else fails, that tells you the arm is slightly loose in the collar — worth checking collar tension before fitting a replacement.
If you are not certain this is the right arm for your bridge, send us the make, model and year of your guitar and we will confirm before you order.
