This is the left-handed tremolo arm for the Floyd Rose 1000 Series bridge. It drops into the arm collar on the bridge and gives you control over pitch. The shaft is 6mm diameter, the arm is 80mm in length, and it is finished in chrome over stainless steel.
Fit is series-specific and this is the part that catches most people out. The shaft diameter, the thread or push-in collar, and the bend geometry all differ between Floyd Rose generations — an arm from the wrong series will not seat correctly. This arm is bent for left-handed play and is not interchangeable with a right-handed arm, even within the same series. Before ordering, confirm you have a 1000 Series bridge, not an Original, Special, Pro, or any other Floyd Rose variant.
Stainless steel construction means the shaft holds its shape under repeated use. Pot-metal arms from budget replacements wear at the collar contact point and develop slop over time; that does not happen here.
