- JEM Signature Series
Ibanez built the JEMJRLWH as part of the JEM Signature Series, positioning it as a signature-line electric guitar finished in white. The JEM line was designed around high-performance playability, and this model carried that brief forward with a Wizard III Maple neck — a profile associated with fast, low-action playing — paired with a Meranti body and a Jatoba fretboard bearing the series' characteristic Tree of Life inlay across all 24 frets.
The fretboard runs a 400mm radius and is dressed with jumbo frets, with a nut width of 43mm tapering to 58mm at the 24th fret and neck thicknesses of 19mm at the first fret and 21mm at the 12th. The 648mm (25.5") scale feeds into a double locking tremolo bridge with 10.5mm string spacing, finished in cosmo black hardware throughout. Pickup duties are handled by a three-pickup configuration: Quantum Humbucker (Passive/Ceramic) at the bridge, Quantum Single-coil (Passive/Alnico) in the middle position, and Quantum Humbucker (Passive/Ceramic) at the neck.
Owners requiring setup work, tremolo calibration, or fretwork on this instrument should consult a qualified guitar technician familiar with double locking tremolo systems.
STRAIGHT TALK
What Stands Out
Keep In Mind
From the people who own them
Nothing in The Vault is for sale. These records exist so the instruments stay documented after the manufacturer moves on — and the most useful part of that record is what owners add to it.
Owner photos
Put yours on the record.
The catalog shot showed one finish, under one light, a long time ago. Yours has been played. Photos from owners are what the next person finds when they are trying to identify a part, match a finish, or work out whether the one they just bought is really what the seller said it was.
What do you know about this one?
Specs only go so far. What actually fits, what breaks first, what the factory got right and what everyone ends up changing — that lives with the people who own them, not in a datasheet. Post what you know and it stays on this page for whoever comes looking next.
