Washburn built the RO10TB as part of its Rover Travel Series, positioning it as a compact acoustic instrument designed around the reduced-scale demands of travel use. It sat at the smaller end of Washburn's acoustic lineup, carrying the Rover Travel Size shape designation.
The top is solid spruce, braced with quarter-sawn scalloped Sitka spruce bracing. Back and sides are mahogany, as is the neck. The rosewood fretboard carries offset dot inlays, and both the nut and rosette are ABS. The 43mm nut width and 23.75" scale length define the feel at the hand. The rosewood bridge accepts the included D'Addario EXP-15 extra light phosphor bronze strings. Tuning is handled by chrome diecast tuners. The guitar shipped with the ROGC- case included.
