Ibanez produced the AEWC32FMISF as part of the AEW Series, positioning it as an acoustic-electric with an AEWC body format and a flamed maple top over sapele back and sides. The model carried a Fishman Sonicore pickup paired with the Ibanez AEQ210TF preamp, which includes an onboard tuner, feeding a standard 1/4" output.
The AEWC Nyatoh neck runs to a walnut fretboard with 20 frets and off-set white dot inlays. The nut measures 43mm wide and is plastic, as is the saddle. The walnut bridge uses an AEWC original top-loading design. A 400mm radius governs the fretboard curve. Scale length is 634mm. Neck thickness measures 20mm at the first fret and 21mm at the seventh; string spacing at the bridge is 11mm. The body length is 19 1/4" with a maximum depth of 2 3/4", and the lower bout width is 15". The soundhole rosette is acrylic, and tuning is handled by black die-cast tuners. The guitar shipped strung with Ibanez IACS6C strings gauged .012/.016/.024/.032/.042/.053, in standard E-to-E tuning.
Owners needing setup work, saddle or nut replacement, or guidance on compatible Fishman Sonicore or AEQ210TF components should consult a qualified guitar technician or luthier familiar with acoustic-electric instruments.
STRAIGHT TALK
What Stands Out
Keep In Mind
From the people who own them
Nothing in The Vault is for sale. These records exist so the instruments stay documented after the manufacturer moves on — and the most useful part of that record is what owners add to it.
Owner photos
Put yours on the record.
The catalog shot showed one finish, under one light, a long time ago. Yours has been played. Photos from owners are what the next person finds when they are trying to identify a part, match a finish, or work out whether the one they just bought is really what the seller said it was.
What do you know about this one?
Specs only go so far. What actually fits, what breaks first, what the factory got right and what everyone ends up changing — that lives with the people who own them, not in a datasheet. Post what you know and it stays on this page for whoever comes looking next.
