Washburn built the WLO12SE-O-U as part of its Woodline Series, positioning the Orchestra-body acoustic-electric as a tonally versatile option within the Woodline 10 Series line — a range Washburn described as balancing affordability, elegance, sound, and stability.
The guitar's solid mahogany top is braced with Cathedral Peaked Scalloped-X bracing and paired with mahogany back and sides. Walnut binding runs the body. The satin mahogany neck carries a 25-1/2" scale and a 1-11/16" Graphtech NuBone nut, with an ovangkol fretboard and bridge, dot inlays, and 20 frets. A Washburn Parquet rosette decorates the soundhole. Electronics are handled by a Fishman Presys II 301T preamp system with onboard tuner, offering volume, bass, treble, and phase controls. Hardware throughout is chrome, including die-cast tuners. The guitar ships strung with D'Addario EXP light gauge phosphor bronze strings and wears a gloss natural finish.
Owners sourcing replacement parts — including the NuBone nut, Ovangkol saddle, or Fishman Presys II 301T preamp unit — should consult a qualified guitar technician to confirm fit and maintain proper setup geometry for this Orchestra body.
STRAIGHT TALK
What Stands Out
Keep In Mind
From the people who own them
Nothing in The Vault is for sale. These records exist so the instruments stay documented after the manufacturer moves on — and the most useful part of that record is what owners add to it.
Owner photos
Put yours on the record.
The catalog shot showed one finish, under one light, a long time ago. Yours has been played. Photos from owners are what the next person finds when they are trying to identify a part, match a finish, or work out whether the one they just bought is really what the seller said it was.
What do you know about this one?
Specs only go so far. What actually fits, what breaks first, what the factory got right and what everyone ends up changing — that lives with the people who own them, not in a datasheet. Post what you know and it stays on this page for whoever comes looking next.
