Washburn built the WLO100SWEK-D-U as part of its Woodline Series, positioning the model as a solid-wood orchestra-body acoustic-electric aimed at fingerstyle players. The orchestra body was paired with a torrefied solid Sitka spruce soundboard, a combination Washburn described as producing a focused voice that is both dry and immediate while remaining intimate.
The top is braced with a Cathedral Peaked Scalloped-X pattern and finished with a 2-ring abalone and maple rosette. Back and sides are solid mahogany; the neck is satin mahogany with walnut rails and a 2-way truss rod. The ebony fretboard runs to 20 frets, and the nut — cut from bone — measures 1-3/4" wide at a 25-1/2" scale. The ebony bridge accepts an under-saddle transducer feeding a Fishman Presys+ Blend preamp, which adds an integrated microphone, a blend control, a chromatic tuner, and a full EQ section (bass, mid, treble, notch, and phase). Graphtech Ratio-tuned tuners with black buttons handle intonation at the headstock, and the guitar shipped strung with D'Addario EXP-16 light phosphor-bronze strings. Walnut body binding and a pearl headstock logo were standard across the Woodline Series. All hardware is chrome. The instrument ships in a hardshell case.
Owners requiring setup work, fret work, or nut and saddle replacement should consult a qualified luthier familiar with ebony fretboards and bone nuts; the 1-3/4" nut width and 25-1/2" scale are useful references when sourcing compatible replacement nuts or saddles.
STRAIGHT TALK
What Stands Out
Keep In Mind
From the people who own them
Nothing in The Vault is for sale. These records exist so the instruments stay documented after the manufacturer moves on — and the most useful part of that record is what owners add to it.
Owner photos
Put yours on the record.
The catalog shot showed one finish, under one light, a long time ago. Yours has been played. Photos from owners are what the next person finds when they are trying to identify a part, match a finish, or work out whether the one they just bought is really what the seller said it was.
What do you know about this one?
Specs only go so far. What actually fits, what breaks first, what the factory got right and what everyone ends up changing — that lives with the people who own them, not in a datasheet. Post what you know and it stays on this page for whoever comes looking next.
