Washburn built the PXM20EFTBM-D-U as part of its Parallaxe Series, a line positioned around modern, high-performance electric guitar construction. The model carried a carved double-cutaway body with a set neck joint and a Flame Trans Black Matte finish over a flamed maple veneer top.
