Description

Dunlop produced the MXR GT-OD (M193-U) as an overdrive pedal within the MXR effects line. It was positioned as a straightforward overdrive unit aimed at delivering smooth, warm, classic overdrive tones with minimal noise and without significant coloration of the source signal.

The GT-OD ran on a 9-volt DC power supply and drew 2.2 mA of current. Input impedance was rated at 1 MΩ, output impedance at under 7.5 kΩ, and the noise floor was specified at greater than 88 dB. The pedal featured hardwire bypass.
