Description

Dunlop positioned the MXR Micro Flanger as a compact, simplified alternative to its larger MXR flanger unit. The pedal offered the same core flanging tones and textures as its counterpart while reducing the control set to two parameters: Speed and Regeneration.

The unit operated on 9 volts DC at a current draw of 7 mA, making it compatible with standard pedalboard power supplies. Its delay range spanned 3.9 µs to 4 ms, with the Rate control sweeping from 0.2 Hz to 5.5 Hz. Input impedance measured 1 MΩ and output impedance 1 kΩ, placing it within the standard range for series effects chain use. The noise floor sat at -88 dBV. True hardwire bypass was implemented, leaving the signal path unaffected when the effect was disengaged.
