Description
Dunlop produced the M115-U as part of the MXR Distortion III line, positioning it as a distortion pedal capable of covering a wide gain range — from overdrive-weight clipping through to heavy distortion tones.
The unit operates on a 9-volt DC supply and draws 3.5 mA. Input impedance is rated at 1 MΩ with an output impedance of 5.5 kΩ. Gain is adjustable across a range of 22 dB to 50 dB at 1 kHz, and a tone control provides ±6.5 dB of cut or boost centred at 3 kHz. Nominal input level is −22 dBV, maximum output level is +3 dBV, and the noise floor is rated at 84 dBV. Bypass is implemented as true hardwire, leaving the signal path unaffected when the pedal is disengaged.
