Cort built the CR300-ATB as part of its CR Series, positioning it as a set-neck solidbody electric designed to deliver a vintage single-cutaway feel at a contemporary price point. It sat within the CR line as an accessible entry into PAF-style tone and traditional construction.
The CR300-ATB is built around a mahogany body with a 15mm maple top and a set mahogany neck, with red ivory binding and a jatoba fretboard at a 305mm radius. The 24.75" scale runs 22 frets to a 42mm nut. A tune-o-matic bridge with stop tailpiece handles intonation and anchoring, while vintage-style tuners hold a set of D'Addario EXL 110 strings. The pickup complement is an EMG Fat 55 set, routed through a control layout of two volume controls, two tone controls, and a three-way toggle switch. All hardware is finished in chrome.
