This is the tremolo arm for the Floyd Rose 1000 Series bridge. It replaces a missing or damaged arm and restores the whammy collar to working order. The arm is stainless steel with an antique bronze finish, 6mm diameter, 80mm length.
Fit is series-specific and this is where most mistakes happen. The shaft diameter, the collar engagement — whether threaded or push-in — and the bend geometry all vary between Floyd Rose generations. This arm is designed for the 1000 Series only. It will not seat correctly in an Original Series, Special, or Pro Series bridge. Left-handed arms are bent in the opposite direction; this is a right-handed arm and is not interchangeable with a left-handed one. If you are not certain which series your bridge is, look for the series marking stamped on the baseplate before ordering.
Stainless steel holds up to repeated grip and release without the surface wear that affects plated arms over time. The antique bronze finish matches 1000 Series hardware in that colour family; if your bridge is chrome or gold, this arm will not match.
If you are unsure whether this is the correct arm for your guitar, send us the make, model and year and we will confirm the fit before you order.
