Ibanez produced the IBB541BE as part of its POWERPAD® 541 series gig bags, positioning it as a padded soft case designed specifically for electric bass guitar. The beige colourway distinguished it from standard black canvas alternatives in the line.
The bag featured 15mm thick cushioning on the bottom and sidewalls to absorb impacts, and incorporated a belt inside the bag to grip and brace the neck during transport. Four storage pockets provided space for accessories. Matched-colour heavyweight zippers ran throughout, and a handle on the back side of the bag allowed the bag to be held vertically.
