Washburn positioned the WP33SRS-L-U within its Parlor Series as the P33S Royal Sapphire, a parlor-bodied acoustic guitar built around a solid spruce top paired with select Sapele back and sides. The left-handed designation (-L) placed it as a mirror-configuration variant within the same series.
The solid spruce top is braced with a quarter-sawn scalloped pattern and carries an abalone and wood rosette. The Okoume neck features a slotted headstock and terminates at a 43mm bone nut, running a 24-inch scale across an 18-fret laurel fretboard dressed with abalone inlays. The laurel bridge and chrome diecast tuners complete the hardware complement. Strings are fitted from D'Addario. The finish is gloss natural on the body.
