This is the Floyd Rose push-in tremolo arm in black nickel, part FRTAPIBNP. It replaces a worn, sloppy, or missing arm on a push-in style Floyd Rose bridge. The push-in design seats into the collar on the bridge block without threading — you press it in, it holds under spring tension, and you pull it out when you want it out. No collar nut to lose, no stripped threads to chase. The arm is tungsten with a black nickel finish. Kit includes the arm and the mounting assembly.
Fit is series-specific and this is where you need to be careful. Shaft diameter, the push-in collar dimensions, and the bend angle differ between Floyd Rose generations. An arm from one series will not seat correctly in another. Left-handed arms are bent the opposite direction and are not interchangeable with right-handed ones. According to Floyd Rose, this arm is compatible with the Original, Special, 1000 Series, Non-Fine Tuner, and Pro series bridges — if your bridge is not one of those, this is not the right part.
Tungsten is notably denser than the steel used in older arms. The practical effect is a slightly different feel and resistance to the bending that can deform cheaper arms over time. The black nickel finish matches the black hardware variants of the compatible bridge series.
If you are not certain which series your bridge is, send us the make, model, and year of the guitar and we will confirm before you order.
