Ibanez produced the IUBT541WR as part of the Powerpad 541 series of instrument bags, positioning it specifically for tenor-style ukuleles. The Wine Red colourway and matched-colour heavyweight zippers distinguished it from standard black canvas bags in its category.
The bag featured 15mm thick cushioning on the bottom and sides, with an interior neck belt to brace and secure the instrument during transport. Three external storage pockets provided space for strings, a tuner, and accessories. Interior dimensions accommodate a tenor body up to 695mm overall length, with a lower body width of 240mm, upper body width of 180mm, and an interior depth of 70mm. The complete bag weighed 0.53kg.
For questions about fit with a specific instrument or repairs to zippers, padding, or stitching, consult a qualified guitar technician or luggage repair specialist familiar with instrument cases.
STRAIGHT TALK
What Stands Out
Keep In Mind
From the people who own them
Nothing in The Vault is for sale. These records exist so the instruments stay documented after the manufacturer moves on — and the most useful part of that record is what owners add to it.
Owner photos
Put yours on the record.
The catalog shot showed one finish, under one light, a long time ago. Yours has been played. Photos from owners are what the next person finds when they are trying to identify a part, match a finish, or work out whether the one they just bought is really what the seller said it was.
What do you know about this one?
Specs only go so far. What actually fits, what breaks first, what the factory got right and what everyone ends up changing — that lives with the people who own them, not in a datasheet. Post what you know and it stays on this page for whoever comes looking next.
