- 541 POWERPAD®
Ibanez produced the IAB541WR as part of the 541 POWERPAD® series of acoustic guitar gig bags, positioned as a protective carry solution for acoustic instruments. The wine red colorway and matched heavyweight zippers distinguished it from standard black canvas bags in the same market segment.
The bag featured 15mm thick cushioning on the bottom and sides, providing padding against impacts and abrasion during transport. An internal neck belt was included to brace and secure the guitar's neck within the bag. Four external storage pockets offered space for accessories and supplies. A handle on the reverse side allowed the bag to be kept in a vertical orientation.
Owners needing to assess fit for a specific instrument should reference the interior dimensions on this record. For guidance on safely packing or securing an instrument with unusual body proportions, a qualified guitar technician or luthier can advise on appropriate padding and bracing practices.
STRAIGHT TALK
What Stands Out
Keep In Mind
From the people who own them
Nothing in The Vault is for sale. These records exist so the instruments stay documented after the manufacturer moves on — and the most useful part of that record is what owners add to it.
Owner photos
Put yours on the record.
The catalog shot showed one finish, under one light, a long time ago. Yours has been played. Photos from owners are what the next person finds when they are trying to identify a part, match a finish, or work out whether the one they just bought is really what the seller said it was.
What do you know about this one?
Specs only go so far. What actually fits, what breaks first, what the factory got right and what everyone ends up changing — that lives with the people who own them, not in a datasheet. Post what you know and it stays on this page for whoever comes looking next.
